Chinoko Sakamoto is a sculptor who graduated from an art university in London, before creating her own kiln in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan in 2018. Using her hands as tools, she kneads clay to create shapes that come to mind, crafting works that evoke familiar objects or things seen somewhere before.
Since the opening of VAGUE KOBE, we have displayed the works of Chinoko Sakamoto, and this time we are delighted to showcase some of her smaller pieces, which are also available for purchase.
