Vague has created an original pair of zori in collaboration with Hakimono Sekizuka.
The sandals feature Ame, a textile designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio for the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat. They are available in three colors: Grey, Navy, and Beige.
Ame reinterprets the Japanese technique of sashiko, incorporating flowing stitches reminiscent of falling rain, while weaving in the layered sensibility of kimono and the subtle transitions found in natural colors.
Bringing together the traditional form of zori with contemporary materials and sensibilities, each pair is carefully crafted by hand by skilled artisans.
