Alfred Hendrickx
Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx was born in 1931. Throughout the mid-20th century, he collaborated with Belgian furniture manufacturer Belform, where he became known for his elegant, sculptural designs, including tables, chairs, storage furniture, and sideboards.
His work from the 1950s and 1960s is characterized by a distinctive interpretation of mid-century Scandinavian design, combining luxurious materials such as rosewood and teak with more industrial materials including laminate and steel. His refined yet industrial approach has attracted renewed attention in the vintage furniture market in recent years.
